Practitioners

A Religious Science Practitioner is a licensed, professional, spiritual counselor who has completed an extensive four year course of study in the study of Religious Science. The practitioner/client partnering addresses the spiritual, emotional, mental and physical aspects of the client’s experience.

Practitioners are the healing arm of Ahava Center for Spiritual Living, prayerfully supporting the lives and spirits of those within our community. More than a vocation, being a practitioner is a way of life.

A practitioner…”endeavors to greet the divinity in everyone he or she meets.”

Youth  and Family

Sunday Morning Programs

Our youth program at Ahava is focused on creating a safe environment for youth to learn and practice spiritual concepts. Children and teens are encouraged to discover their individual understanding of Spirit through books, crafts, and discussion. We encourage our youth to practice New Thought principles in their own lives, including affirmation, treatment, and meditation.

We offer the following youth classes on Sunday mornings during our regular service time:

Infants and Toddlers up to 4 years of age — Nurturing the One Life
4 yrs–Kindergarten — Exploring the One Life As Me
1st–5th grade — Recognizing the One Life As Me
6th–8th grade — Practice the Power of Transformation
9th–12th grade — Conscious Choice

Seva

Seva also Sewa, short for the word Karseva refers to "selfless service", work or service performed without any thought of reward or personal benefit.  Our Seva ministry combines both our volunteer staff and outreach.  If you would like to be of service to Ahava, please contact Rev. Soni at ministercantrell@gmail.com
